Everything rests on emotion and facial expression: the face does the work.
Frame Lab is monthly practice on a professional shoot. No lectures and no theory: every month brings a new task. Alena works with each child one-on-one right on set: she sets the pose, catches the emotion and teaches them to hear the photographer for that exact task.

As LÁ Production we shoot for brands. As a school and an agency we prepare kids for those shoots. So we know the requirements from the inside, and we set exactly the same ones at Frame Lab.
The same team, the same light and set, styling, brief and demands on the frame as on a brand shoot. The only difference: here Alena has time to work with every child one-on-one.
Each Frame Lab trains a different set of skills. Over a year a child goes through many working formats and builds a varied portfolio, not ten copies of one look.

Everything rests on emotion and facial expression: the face does the work.

Holding, playing with and showing an object so it looks natural in the frame.

Contact, reaction and timing with a partner in one frame.

Working in a group: space, interaction and staying in the frame together.

Movement, dynamics and poses that hold up in the frame.

A brief exactly as on a brand shoot: looks, set and a clear task.

Clean, current material casting directors and agencies ask for.

When it gets warm we take the practice outside: light, crowds and real locations.
We don't shoot by the clock. We shoot until the result, and our students reach it faster and faster: they understand the task and what is expected of them.
We announce the theme early and send references for the looks and the mood of the set.
Booking closes when a group of up to 12 kids a day is full. There can be several groups in a month.
Every child gets hair and makeup on set before stepping in front of the camera. It is included in the price.
Alena works with each child individually: the pose, the emotion, the task of the month.
You get every good frame. How many depends on the child's experience, and our students miss less from shoot to shoot.
Our kids really level up over a year. Each month brings a new format, a new kind of experience on set and new material for the portfolio. By the time a brief comes from a brand, a child has already done a portrait story, a group shoot and a campaign.
Talents aren't born. They're grown.
Open any project to see the full series: themes, sets and the kids who worked on them.
One price for one Frame Lab. School students on the “School + shoot” plan already have it included every month.
* The price may change with the scale and theme of the shoot: set design, props and extra materials for hair and makeup. We always confirm the final price when we announce the theme.
Frame Lab is shot the same way we shoot for brands. Brands get the same team, the same care for kids on set and the same quality, built around their brief.
Kids from LÁ Kids Model Agency, picked for your brief: age, height, look and character.
Art direction, styling, set and light. We find the location or build it in the studio.
Photo and video in one day, with a team that knows how to keep kids relaxed and focused.
Retouched frames and vertical videos, ready for the website, marketplaces and social.
No. Frame Lab is open to every child as a separate format. School students on the “School + shoot” plan have it included every month.
Every good frame from the practice. Some kids get a hundred, some fewer than ten: it depends on experience and preparation. With every shoot our students miss less.
In advance. We announce the theme and send references for the looks and the set, so you can prepare.
We don't shoot by the clock, we shoot until the result. A group is up to 12 kids a day, and there can be several groups in a month.
Some themes need extra set design, props or materials. We always confirm the final price when we announce the theme, before you book.
Leave a request for the next Frame Lab. We'll send the theme, the references and the dates, and confirm the price.
