From the founder
I don't offer brands just faces. I introduce them to children I know personally — and celebrate every one of their successes as my own.

I'm a teacher by training — maybe that's why kids are drawn to me, and I to them. I easily find common ground with a little one at their first casting and with a teenager who already shoots for brands. I truly love what I do, and over my years in the industry I've worked with many brands, from catalogues to big campaigns.

I know many families in our database personally. I know every child's height by heart — and, more importantly, their character. So I try to send each child where they'll feel comfortable and engaged. For the brand that means a precise match; for the child, an experience that makes them want to come back on set.

What happens after you apply

01

Application & review

Phone photos, age, height and city. Every application goes through several stages of review inside the agency.

02

Meeting & tests

The best way in. We meet the child at model tests or an open casting and see potential, type and how they work on set.

03

Our decision

Only then do we invite the child to the database, on terms agreed individually. We offer them to castings when the brief fits.

How we work with kids in our database

There are far more kids who want to shoot than there are brand shoots, so we can't promise work to everyone. What we can do is help them grow, shoot working material and vouch for the kids we prepare ourselves.

Mentoring

A complete review using our own LÁ PRISM method, a written strategy and a plan for the next six months. Alena and Anna look at the whole child: character, range, interests, skills on set and how brands see them.

LÁ TALENT LAB methodPRISM

We split the child into five facets, 14 parameters in all. The result is a PRISM map: strengths, the superpowers castings value, and a plan for six months. After 3 and 6 months the map is updated, so you see what has changed.

  1. P

    Personality

    How close shoots are to the child: interest, involvement in the process, focus and ease with new people.

  2. R

    Range

    Emotions and facial expression, movement, improvisation.

  3. I

    Interests & superpowers

    What the child loves and does outside the frame: sport, dance, music, languages. And how these skills work on set: where they give an edge and where they are better softened.

    Skills on set

    Posing, hearing the brief and notes, working in a pair and in a group.

We never score looks: the map shows how ready the child is for shoots, and we compare the child only with themselves.

  1. 01

    Inputs and review

    We gather everything we need in the way that suits you:

    • an interview using our questionnaire, online;
    • the same interview in the studio on a trial class day;
    • a brief you fill in yourself.

    Then we go through all the current material (photos, video, tests, social media) and ask follow-up questions.

  2. 02

    PRISM map and strategy

    Based on the inputs we draw conclusions and recommendations, and put them in a document you keep:

    • the PRISM map and the child's profile in one line;
    • superpowers and how to use them;
    • portfolio: what to keep, what to remove, what to shoot;
    • image and haircut;
    • what to work on in front of the camera;
    • the way into our database and, if it fits, Asia;
    • a month-by-month plan.
  3. 03

    Checkpoints

    After 3 and 6 months we update the PRISM map and check against the plan: what's done, what worked, what to change.

In betweenMessage us when an offer for a shoot or collaboration comes in. We'll tell you whether it's worth saying yes, so you don't spend money and time on things that don't work for your child.

These are recommendations, not a promise: on a casting the final choice is always the client's.

Questions parents ask

Can anyone join the agency?+

Anyone can apply, but not every application is accepted. Each one goes through several stages of review, and the final decision is ours. Terms of representation are individual: they depend on the child, their experience and our plans for them.

What is the best way to get in?+

Meet us in person. At model tests or an open agency casting we see the child at work right away: potential, type and how they take direction. We announce open castings for new faces on our Instagram.

What ages do you represent?+

From 5 to 16 years old.

Do we need professional photos?+

Not to apply: phone photos are enough. To be offered to brands the child needs fresh tests in the format clients ask for. We shoot them in our studio as model tests.

How often will there be castings?+

It depends on type, age and season. We don't promise a number: we put the child forward whenever a brief fits.

How do fees work?+

Terms and fees differ from brand to brand. We agree them with you before the shoot.

Does my child have to study at your school?+

No. School students are recommended first because we see them at work every week, but anyone can apply to the agency.

Tell us about your child. Each application goes through several stages of review inside the agency; if we see potential, we get in touch and invite you to meet, usually at model tests.
